Hip-hop’s past, present and future is heavily supporting voter initiatives this election season. The latest of these voter awareness campaigns teams hip-hop pioneers The Beastie Boys who have recruited with famous friends Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Norah Jones, Crosby & Nash, Santogold and Tenacious D to perform in the “Get Out and Vote 08” tour which will hit key battleground states days before the election on November 4th. In addition, they have teamed with “Rock the Vote” who will be on hand to distribute information on local polling sites.

The tour will be hitting Charlotte, NC (Oct 27th); Richmond, VA (Oct 28th); Youngstown & Dayton, OH (Oct 29-30th); St. Paul, MN (Nov 1st) and Milwaukee, WI (Nov 2nd).
